cBioPortal Study Preparation & Export
Assemble an approved dataset into a governed cBioPortal study package, then validate, approve and import it.
Controlled workflow: SELECT APPROVED DATA → PREPARE → BUILD → VALIDATE → INDEPENDENT APPROVAL → PUBLISH → IMPORT → VERIFY. The worker validates storage/exports/cbioportal/<study_id>_<version>/; checksums are recorded in manifest.json and validation evidence is retained with the export job. The visualization portal opens in a new tab because its security policy does not permit iframe embedding.
Prepare controlled study export
Only approved or published dataset versions in your permitted facility scope are available.
Privacy contract
Only research subject and sample identifiers enter study files. Names, phones, NIDA, MRNs, patient UUIDs, and exact residence are rejected by the builder and validator.
cBioPortal Export QueueEvery transition is preserved in an audit event.

Identity Resolution / MPI
Deterministic and probabilistic candidates are reviewed without deleting source aliases.
Link establishes an auditable MPI relationship. Merge is a separate proposed → approved → applied action and can always be unmerged.
Propose non-destructive merge
MPI principle
The source patients remain aliases. An applied merge marks a duplicate MPI record as merged; it does not delete a patient, identifier, contact, address, or provenance record.

Data Management Workspace
Governance, harmonization, quality, MPI review, approval, and governed export operations
Sandbox transformations, design governed visual reports, and identify probable duplicate patients without changing source clinical records.
Protection modeNon-destructive
All staging actions create derived sandbox artifacts. Original patient, CDR, and operational records are not modified.

The active database is structurally blocked here. A restore target must be created and granted by a DBA; if it already contains tables, a current-state encrypted safety backup is created first.

Reset demo data
Permanently wipes every clinical, ingestion, staging, predictive, and reporting record back to empty. Accounts, roles/permissions, facilities, settings, and the audit trail are kept. Only runs against the demo database — structurally blocked from ever touching live patient data. Cannot be undone.
Reset Demo Data
This permanently deletes every clinical, ingestion, staging, predictive, and reporting record in the demo database. This cannot be undone. Accounts, roles, facilities, settings, and audit history are kept.
